“It was all a dream…” -Biggie Smalls

Swing Don’t Swipe started as an idea while playing golf, as any great idea should start. Leah, our cofounder, had this prior idea of creating a golf event just for singles to mingle and bond over their love of golf. She then proposed it to her then, golf partner, Andrea, while playing at Harvard Gulch on the first hole. A month later, and many hours of planning and surveying, BOOM, Swing Don’t Swipe was born.

Should we note, that two holes later, after the proposed idea, Leah achieved her first hole-in-one. So the date of, October 19th, 2023, should go down in history as the best day ever.

Who We Are

We were founded by Leah & Andrea in November of 2023 and then officially became business with a LLC in January of 2024.

Our company hosts golf events for Denver singles to meet each other, with the idea that they would hopefully go on a date in the near future. Since we were founded during the Colorado winter months our events have been held at golf simulation bars in Denver. However, we plan on hosting golf outings at local public courses when the weather permits.

Swing Don’t Swipe’s first event was on December 6th, at South Broadway Country Club. We sold out within in two weeks and hosted a total of 24 participants, 12 gals and 12 guys. It was a total success as everyone had a great time and told us they can’t wait to attend the next one in our feedback survey. We even had a few known dates come out of the event! Which we love to hear.

Our goal is to host an event a month at various venues around town. If you would like to host us for a future event, let us know. We also partner with local golf companies or stores for prizes, this way we can dual market local golf businesses, while motivating our participants in our competitions. If interested in partnering or hosting, don’t hesitate to send us an email, we would love to hear from you.

Leah & Andrea

We met in early October at a Fore the Ladies golf outing at Thorncreek Golf Course. We both have worked in middle schools, both graduated from CU, and of course both love to golf, so our friendship was meant to be. FTL is a national non-profit that hosts golf outings and clinics for only women and is is a great organization to meet other like-minded golfing woman. Who knows you could meet your future business partner there like we did.

Leah is a Colorado native, a unicorn, as they are called. She works at a public school as a school counselor. She is a former competitive swimmer and she very much still hones that competitive spirit in everything she does. When she is not working or golfing, she likes to go to her gym, swim, read thriller books, cook, binge Bravo shows, travel and spend time with her friends and family. And yes, the rumor is true, she did get a hole-in-one in October, what a bad ass she is.

Andrea is a transplant who hails from Rockford, Illinois, but has lived in Colorado for over 11 years. She is a former middle school teacher turned sales account executive for an educational travel company. She too is a former competitive athlete, but played soccer, and like Leah is competitive about everything. When she is not working or golfing, she likes to go for walks and hikes, snowboard, cook, binge Netflix shows, and watch all facets of sports, but especially Chicago sports teams, Buffs football, and golf!
